A Comfortable Place to Stay Close to Medical Care
Anayat House provides affordable overnight lodging in a safe, restful, home-like setting for outpatients, family members, and caregivers traveling to Beaumont for medical care.
Our six private, ADA-accessible guest rooms offer a comfortable place to rest while staying close to local hospitals, medical offices, and treatment centers. We are located next door to Texas Oncology and just a few blocks from CHRISTUS St. Elizabeth Hospital.
Who Can Stay?
Anayat House welcomes eligible guests who live outside Beaumont and need overnight accommodations while:

Receiving outpatient medical care, including appointments, procedures, or treatment at Beaumont-area medical facilities.

Supporting a family member or someone in their care who is hospitalized or receiving medical treatment in Beaumont.
Guests may come from any county or state. Eligibility is based on the need for lodging related to medical care in Beaumont.
The registering guest must be at least 18 years old. Adult guests must provide valid government-issued photo identification, consent to a background check, and complete registration. Staff will verify the patient’s hospitalization or medical appointment.
How to Arrange a Stay
Call 409-833-0649 to discuss eligibility, room availability, and arrival arrangements. Please contact us before coming to the house.
Regular check-in hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. After-hours and weekend check-ins are available by appointment only. All stays depend on eligibility and room availability.
Suggested Contribution
The suggested contribution is $25 per room, per night.
No eligible guest is turned away because of an inability to contribute. Please speak with our staff if you need assistance.
Community donations and grants help cover the cost of providing your stay.
Your Guest Room
Each private guest room includes:

Two twin beds with bed linens and pillows.

A private, ADA-accessible bathroom.

Towels and basic toiletries.
-
A recliner.
-
A television.
-
A mini-refrigerator and microwave.

Individual heating and air-conditioning controls.

Closet space and a luggage rack.
Rooms accommodate a maximum of two adults. Please speak with staff in advance if children will be accompanying you.
Shared Spaces and Amenities
Guests also have access to:

A shared kitchen with coffee, snacks, and space to store personal food.

A comfortable living area.

A library with a computer workstation.

Internet access.
-
A laundry room with detergent provided.
Guests may bring their own food. Microwave, toaster oven and coffee machine are provided in the Kitchen.
Length of Stay
Anayat House is intended for short-term stays related to medical care. The length of your stay depends on your medical circumstances, continued eligibility, and room availability.
Stays longer than seven days require approval from the Executive Director and are reviewed on a day-to-day basis. Staff will periodically reverify hospitalization or outpatient treatment.
Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
Important Things to Know
To help maintain a peaceful and comfortable environment:

Smoking, illegal drugs, alcohol, and alcohol consumption are not permitted in the house or on the grounds.

Pets are not permitted; service animals are welcome.

All visitors must register with staff. Unregistered overnight guests are not allowed.

Guests are responsible for keeping their rooms tidy and cleaning up after using shared spaces. Housekeeping is not provided during the stay.

Linens and towels are provided at arrival. Guests can use the Laundry room to wash linens and towels.

Guests should keep noise and activity to a minimum between 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.
Guest Care and Mobility: Guests must be ambulatory and able to manage their own personal care. Anayat House does not provide medical care, assistance with daily living activities, or transportation. Medical professionals are not permitted to provide medical care or treatment on the premises.
Staff will review the complete house policies with you during registration.
