DESCRIPTION:On behalf of the Fundraising Committee and the Board of Directors\, we are excited to invite you to join us for our annual fundraising gala\, “Truck Yeah!”\, to be held on Thursday\, February 26\, 2026\, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Beaumont Event Centre.  This exciting evening will feature food trucks by Sweet Basil\, Burger Daddy & Funnel’d\, lively music\, a silent auction\, and an open bar underwritten by Giglio Distributing — all in celebration of the mission that drives our work every day. \nThe purpose of this event goes far beyond a fun evening.  Funds raised will go directly to supporting families in medical crisis who rely on Anayat House as their “home away from home.”  Every dollar makes a measurable difference.   For example: \n$20 covers one night for a family unable to contribute even the suggested donation. \n$60 covers the cost of cleaning and sanitizing a guest room after each stay. \n$100 per day covers utilities for one room\, ensuring guests have a safe and comfortable place to stay. \n$400 per month provides our guests with coffee\, bottled water\, soups\, breakfast items\, and snacks to ease the burden of long days at the hospital. \nThese are not just numbers—they are the true costs of compassion. DESCRIPTION:Hope\, Healing and Heroes For the House\nHONOREE – Forensic Nursing Program – CHRISTUS Southeast Texas Friday\, February 21\, 2025 On Friday\, February 21\, 2025\, we will gather to honor the sacred work of the Forensic Nursing Program – CHRISTUS Southeast Texas at our Annual Fundraising gala. For 30 years\, Anayat House has been dedicated to providing comfort\, support\, and respite to patients and their families during challenging medical journeys. We understand that a medical or traumatic crisis can disrupt lives and create additional burdens. Our mission is to provide an affordable\, safe and restful environment where families can stay\, find solace\, restore hope and focus on the healing of themselves as well as that of their loved ones without the worry of accommodation costs. The work of forensic nurses goes far beyond clinical skills; it requires a profound understanding of the psychological and emotional challenges faced by their patients. By providing trauma-informed care to all age groups\, they empower the patients and their loved ones on their healing journey and help them reclaim hope for the future. The CHRISTUS Southeast Texas Forensic Nursing Program is the only program of its kind in the area. These dedicated nurses provide compassionate care to those who have endured unimaginable abuse\, violence\, and other indignities. As unsung heroes\, the forensic nurses are very deserving of recognition for their unrelenting compassionate care for those that are easily forgotten. SUMMARY:30th Anniversary Open House
DESCRIPTION:We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Anayat House has reached an exciting milestone – we are celebrating our 30th anniversary! \n\n\n\nThirty years ago\, Mimi Daniali\, started Anayat House with a heart full of compassion and a lot of hard work.   Mimi took out a second mortgage on her home here in Beaumont to purchase a house for hope for those enduring a medical crisis on McFaddin Street.  The house was 1\,694 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms.  The suggested donation per room per night was $10.  And for 20 years\, this house provided much comfort to an abundance of families. \n\n\n\nAs the need to house more families became apparent\, a new house was built on N. 14th Street.   Ten years ago\, 2014\, the doors to the new Anayat House opened.  The new house is 5\,334 square feet.   There are 6 guest rooms each have a private bathroom – no sharing.   In addition\, the house has a large kitchen\, dining room\, living room\, library with computer station and a laundry room.  The suggested donation is $20 per room per night.  However\, no one is turned away if they are not financially able. \n\n\n\nFrom the beginning\, the mission has always been to provide affordable accommodations in a safe and restful family setting to those using local medical facilities.  And for 30 years\, I am very proud to announce that Anayat House has served over 3\,100 families during their time of need. \n\n\n\nTo commemorate this momentous occasion\, we will be hosting an Open House on Thursday\, July 18 from 11:30 – 1:00.  We would be honored if you would join us in celebrating this special occasion. \n\n\n\nFinally\, on behalf of the Board of Directors and those we serve\, I want to thank everyone for the continued support.  Without the faithful donors and supporters\, none of this would have been possible.  I am confident that with your continued support\, we will continue to reach even greater success in the years to come. Over 75 years ago\, Beaumont Internal Medicine & Geriatric Associates was founded by the Late Dr. George Thomas and was one of the first internal medicine practices in Beaumont. In 1983\, Dr. George Thomas founded the practice with the mission to provide compassionate\, personalized medical care\, while enhancing the overall quality and effectiveness of healthcare. Since their founding\, they have always strived to foster excellence and professionalism in the practice of medicine and for this we honor them! \n\n\n\nFor those who have had a loved one hospitalized or receiving treatment away from HOME can relate to the stress that this kind of experience introduces to our lives – sleepless nights\, financial worries\, and anxiety of the situation. Anayat House offers our overall best with compassionate hospitality to families by providing them with a HOME AWAY FROM HOME. Anayat House supports guests in their times of need which allows them to focus on their healing.
